Covid19 Safety Precautions
At Elite Charters /
Group Island Spirit the health and well-being of our customers
and staff are of the utmost importance to us. We take this
opportunity to reassure all our charter guests that we have
modified our cleaning procedures in line with global health
authority recommendations. You can be confident that when you
set foot on our yacht, we have taken every precaution to keep
you and your family safe.
As we return to business, we can think of no better place to
self-isolate. Whilst sailing is a natural barrier to the spread
of COVID-19 virus, management have implemented the following
additional precautionary measures to ensure you have a most
enjoyable vacation:
Base Check In
All ports of
entry and transfers will be conducted in accordance with local
government policy
to cope with social distancing requirements.
Wear face masks,
in accordance with government guidelines.
When arriving for
check-in, we ask for only one person to enter the office to
finalise paperwork.
The marina restaurant with lounge area & free WiFi is just a few
steps away from our office.
You may be
required to wait outside for a short time if we are with another
customer.
The counter tops
and any other areas of use are wiped down with disinfectant
after each check-in.
Where applicable,
marina access passes are cleaned with disinfectant when returned.
Our
Staff
Have their
temperatures taken prior to commencing work each day
Observe social
distancing guidelines
Regularly
disinfect and wash their hands
Wear face masks
when in contact with our guests, in accordance with government
guidelines
Our
Yachts
Upon return from
charter, each yacht will be thoroughly cleaned and all surfaces
sanitised strictly in
accordance with the manufactures recommendations. Before the next
charter, we are fogging the whole
yacht interior with an ecologically friendly formula via a handheld
ULV Cold Fogging machine that will
disinfect, decontaminate, sanitize and deodorize the area with a
safe FDA approved and certified
disinfectant.
Whilst cleaning,
all staff will adopt Personal Protection Protocols to ensure
their safety.
Alcohol-based
hand sanitiser is provided for your personal on-board protection.
Disinfectant
spray is available on-board for your use during charter.
Snorkel gear is
thoroughly washed, disinfected and placed in a disinfected
basket or net bags
before each charter.
